We had a lovely stay at the old vicarage on Tranøya. Wenche is a very welcoming hostess and from first pick-up by boat from Senja to the drop-off back to the pier, she could not be more helpful. We were fascinated to learn about life on Tranøya and its history. We loved the peace on the island and enjoyed exploring it, including the church and little museum, as well as swimming from the pier. Wenche's home cooking was delicious, the bedrooms were comfortable, and the rooms were spotlessly clean. A fantastic place for a deeply relaxing break. Highly recommended.

Such a lovely accomodation on a beautiful & calm island. Wenche was a really nice and friendly host. Strong recommendation for stand up paddling when the whether is beautiful (turquoise and shallow water).

Such a special experience. We loved not only the island itself, but also the brilliant service, food, and beautiful accommodation. The only negative was that we couldn’t stay longer! I would definitely recommend this place. Thank you, Wenche.

Senja Moments Tranøya is on the Tranøya Island. It's a really beautiful island with a lot of history. The first church here was built in the 1300's.
Dinner, dessert and breakfast are somethings to look forward to! If you're lucky you can see the aurora at night.
The rooms are beautiful and very cosy with really comfortable beds!
You get collected and dropped off by boat from and to the mainland by your host.

A magical place! We basically had the whole island to ourselves other than the sheep, chickens and our host. Peaceful, relaxing and phenomenal homemade meals. We also got to see the Aurora Borealis through the night! O highly recommend booking a stay at Tranoya!

This place is simply extraordinary. ||We discovered it in the summer 2.5 years ago and we promised to come back in the winter. ||The place, the atmosphere, the welcome and the cuisine of Wenche are extraordinary.||If you appreciate disconnection, nature and simple luxury, this place is for you. Wenche was a truly great host, and the place itself on the island was amazing. The history, the food, the location and everything else exceeded all expectations - a truly magical retreat into peaceful nature, with the weather and the northern lights a welcome bonus. Would recommend this place to anyone, from couples to families to anyone who wants some proper peace and nature immersion.
