Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt im Thon Hotel Rosenkrantz Oslo.|Morgens haben wir ein hervorragendes Frühstücksbuffet genossen.|Besonders der liebevolle Service von Frau Steneli Kristensen hat uns das Frühstück nochmal so gut schmecken lassen. Viel Spaß hatten wir bei der Zubereitung unseres Tees mit den kleinen Teebeuteln, sodass sie uns am nächsten Morgen spezielle Teesiebe besorgte.|Durch ihre sehr freundliche und zugewandte Art macht Frühstücken Freude und der Tag beginnt gleich viel entspannter.

Centrally located modern hotel with an on-site restaurant and a tram stop a few steps from the entrance. Our room, as the hotel, was well designed, both pleasing to the eye and restful. The windows provide excellent soundproofing which made for restful sleep. There is no air conditioning which is the norm. There is a lounge on the 8th floor available to everyone for a change of scenery. The breakfast buffet deserves all the accolades it gets. I thought the reviews might be overdone when reading about the hotel but having been there I can assure you that you will enjoy every moment of breakfast. I certainly enjoyed steeping my own combination of loose leaf tea. That's something I've never been able to say before.

Our stay at the Thon Rosenkrantz exceeded our expectations. We picked it due to its close proximity to the city center and also the breakfast bar. The breakfast bar was probably one of the best that we’ve ever experienced at a hotel in Europe. It had every breakfast food item imaginable & it held us over until dinner so that we only had to buy one meal per day. We especially liked the coffee that Stenili personally served us each morning adding to our guest experience. Also our room was clean & comfortable and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this hotel to Oslo travelers!

English visitors just returned from a great trip to Oslo. The Rozenkrantz is very good with a central location near the royal palace and the main shopping area. We didn't get a chance to use the restaurant for evening meals but it is very good for breakfasts with a great choice. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. There are many restaurants within walking distance and do try the bar Roor across the road if you like good beer.

Very nice hotel. Well-decorated lobby, friendly and welcoming staff. Rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable with a nice view! The breakfast buffet is very good! One of the best! It has a large selection of items and is very tasty! The hotel is ideally located in the center of town and very walkable to all things Oslo. Also, a short 10-minute walk to the train. Station. Tram stops are located very close, but you can walk everywhere! Definitely recommended!

The room was really small. The toilet was the smallest toilet i"ve ever found in a hotel - you can barely sit on it
I found out that you cannot turn the aircondition off - I spent the first night trying to figure out how I could sleep: The blanket was way too hot for summer, while no blanket was not an option since the air-condition would not turn-off. To make matters even worse the airconditioning/ventilator makes creeking sounds every now and then creating horrible sleeping conditions.
Additionally, both bed and pillows are really uncomfortable.

The breakfast was quite good, and the staff was really polite and helpfull.

Centrally located. Walking distance to all places CBD and the main train station. I am very impressed with the service I received. Maria at the reception was very welcoming and provided a great service duting my 5- day stay there. HIighly recommended.
