Lyngen Lodge is not just any lodge. This is a place that gives light, love, comfort & warmth. This lodge has some magic created by Veronica & Graham ( The most beautiful souls). We were lucky to have met them and experience and live in their magic abode. Veronica greeted us with her charm and warmth as soon as we arrived.The dinner table with the lovely guests was all done up just too perfect.Until the end we never realised we were all meant to be here together and share such beautiful days with love & laughter all around. Veronica & Graham have not just opened a lodge but created a Haven .||We left with tears & Family....Until we meet again....

Truly the trip of a lifetime thanks to Graeme, Veronica and the entire staff at Lyngen Lodge. The accommodations, food, amenities are all spectacular with every detail accounted for. You feel as if you are part of their family and the friendly atmosphere with the guests is makes it hard to leave. The skiing and terrain is beyond description and our guide Ruppi was a highlight for the whole family. It is a truly special place made so by very special people and should be on every travelers bucket list.

This place is heaven on earth!!! The most amazing experience - from the staff, to the food, to the setting, to the cleanliness of the place, every little detail was fully thought out. This lodge is a true gem. Situated in a beautiful part of Norway - even the journey to and from Tromso is part of the adventure with stunning views (and the occasional moose or reindeer). The lodge itself is a real home from home. Yes the bedrooms are quite small - but that’s clear from the website pictures and you really don’t need anymore. The lodge central areas are spacious, relaxing, charming and also there are areas where, if you want to be, you can be by yourself. The mixture of activities is perfect and close to the lodge, and the short days of winter light mean you have a real chance to relax in the hot tub, or sauna - or maybe just with a book by the fire once your activity is done. On top of all of that - and for me this really stood out - the lodge has a simply superb set of staff. Truly amazing. Welcoming, happy and so helpful. And the food is unbelievably good.||We were lucky - with three amazing northern lights displays right from the lodge and also orca on a whale trip from the lodge’s boat, amongst all the other great activities. And yes - there is definitely no guarantee of the northern lights or of whale. But if you come to this lodge, you are certainly giving yourself the best chance. And I feel that if you don’t see them - well you have enjoyed so many other things, that you will still be wanting to return. Just like we all are!

If you want to see the northern lights, this is the place to come. Spectacular scenery, no lights, and breath taking beauty. The lodge is cozy, handling 16 people at a time. There are beautiful common areas to sit and read or socialize, and we all ate together for breakfast and dinner. The food quality is extremely high, and the people who run the lodge are very nice and efficient. Veronika organizes all of the activity, and Graham makes it happen, whether it’s snowshoeing, cross country, skiing, sled dog riding, snowmobiling, or while watching. There are indoor and outdoor saunas here, and it’s just a great time for everyone. They time it so most of the visitors arrive and depart at the same time, so you get to make new friends and share all the fun. Be sure to go at least four days so you have a better chance of having clear skies on a couple of them.

It is difficult to resume in short words the wonderful experience we had at Lyngen Lodge, a fine small luxury adventure lodge within a breathtaking Fiord location! The staff were at all times very friendly, discrete and well skilled in their fields of service. The chef and his team prepared some of the best gourmet meals we have had in a long time. Simply delicious. They were well balanced and creatively prepared with much dedication and profesional love, you can feel and taste it. The owners, Graham, Veronica and their lovely and smart son Finnly were exceptionally nice and interesting persons, and warm hosts. They made you feel as been part of their family. The tours were well organized and we could hike and navigate with their Yacht to see some beautiful places, mountains, waterfalls, and villages. The rooms and bathrooms were small, clean but comfortable. The spacious dinning an living room areas where designed with great taste in a fine and causy Nordic style. Since we shared the same large dinning table with other gusts we meet some very interesting people of all parts of the world that lead to some friendly and very interesting talks and experiences sharing. The Lodge and gardens are very well maintained and the views from the the Lodge are just magnificent and internal peace inspiring, it definitely shows the best of the incredible natural beauty of Norway! We are planning to go next year again with all our family to see the Northern lights ( Aurora Borealis) since apparently this is one of the best places in the world to see them, and do some dog slatting as well. Thank you Lyngen Lodge for this wonderful experience, and a especial big hug to Finnly ! We highly recommend this Lodge!

Cannot recommend Lyngen lodge enough. It is amazing. Such a warm welcome from Veronika and Graham and the staff. The beds are so comfy I felt like I was in a nest. The food was always very good and never stopped eating. We went out on the boat with Graham and were blessed with orca and hump back whales. We also went dog sledding and hiking and managed a cold dip in the fjord. If you get the opportunity to visit you will not be disappointed

I love the whole concept of Lyngen Lodge enough to have returned for a second time and hopefully not my last.|There are eight double rooms so never more than sixteen international visitors, all like minded adventurers.|The Lodge and staff are warm and welcoming; the quality of the rooms,food and activities, exemplary, and once you have visited you will want to return.|The Northern Lights dance in the star filled skies above the terrace immediately outside the dining room. No need to chase the lights for miles and you have experienced staff on hand to make sure you get the very best photos. The lodge has its own boat for whale watching and the knowledgeable staff explain exactly where to look and what you are seeing. This time there were three very large pods of Orcas.|There is nothing like riding in a sled over soft virgin snow being pulled by a pack of adorable huskies. We stopped for a lunch of delicious reindeer stew and a hot drink.|There is always a wonderful selection of activities for all abilities.
